The whole experience was wonderful. I graduated in 2015 with a 2:1 but then, when it was all over, I felt there was a big hole and didn’t know where to go next.
I threw myself into all things mixed media. Paper, ink, paint, print, collage – just about everything. Over three and a half years, I tried every technique and medium that the world of arts and crafts could tempt me with.
Then, in mid January 2019, my friend, Debs told me about a Masters Degree in Illustration she was taking and that it was online. I had been looking for exactly that course for a long time and wasted no time in applying for it. Two weeks later, I had been offered an unconditional place, accepted it and waited for the 28th with great excitement (and a little trepidation.)
Now I’m about to begin my seventh week. The first half of the first module is already behind me. It’s hard – very hard – but I’m starting to absorb the academic reading and the writing should follow.
I’ll let you know.
Love and peace,
